Transgender Series

The transgender series started as a mere experiment of capturing the beauty of one individual in a softer, elegant and sensitive manner.  My fascination with the transgender population has no deep psychological basis other than I want to create narratives that tell beautiful stories about a sector of the population that has most recently gained media's attention. Much of my commercial work captures highly emotional moments and most recently I've yearned to capture quiet, beautiful, soft spoken moments- the transgender series is my vehicle to achieving this desire.  The series has grown into an ongoing exploration of capturing the essence of the beauty within us- regardless of one's gender.
